# Ethnography Museum Piatra Neamț

> Open since 1980 in a 1924 Neo-Romanian house (formerly the home of the boys' school headmaster), a listed monument. The collection began with field research in the Bistrița Valley carried out before the Bicaz dam flooded it and now exceeds 5,000 items.
